A Night in All White

A 55th birthday with one rule: everything in white. I authored it from concept to execution, a photo shoot with the guest of honor for custom invitations and day-of graphics, her grand entrance, the kitchen and bar timing, even her makeup artist. The moment people still talk about was the rose ceremony: each guest presented her with a single rose wrapped in a five-dollar bill and a photo together. She kept that bouquet for a long, long time. 'Elated,' she said, everything she could have wanted.
