Meet the City
The community event that introduced a church to its neighbors, and couldn't be recreated without her.
My first large-scale community event, an outdoor concert on the church grounds, designed so neighbors passing by could stop, connect, and feel welcomed in. The concept was mine, and I ran the day end to end: balloon décor (some I made myself), gift bags, face painting, games for the local kids, and a set with the church's praise team. It was the first time the church had done anything like it, and it became the blueprint for how to bring a community together.
